Infernal suckage machine
Just a visit from the physio who’ll be supervising my post operative recovery. I got this thing to practice with. I have to suck the little balls all the way to the top. Ten times an hour while I have the garden hose running through my rib cage.
Recuperative reading.
I head into hospital tomorrow to get the last of that crap drained out of my lungs and for a bunch of tests to try work out what it was doing there. I’ll probably be in for four nights because of the stent - ie. the garden hose I’ll wake up with jammed through my ribs.

The Scenic Rim
Expecting to be in lockdown any day now we took a day trip yesterday to the Scenic Rim, a sort of ancient cordillera of long, long extinct volcanos, or their weathered cores at least. After two days of hard gusting winds and occasional rain, it turned out to be a spectacular day.

Had a bunch of doctor appointments yesterday, starting over at Yeronga, which allowed me to indulge in one of my favourite things - the big breakfast at the Yeronga Bakery.
