President-elect Donald Trump has announced that Karoline Leavitt, the spokesperson for his 2024 campaign, will become the White House press secretary when he takes office in January. At just 27 years old, Leavitt will make history as the youngest person to hold the position.
In a statement released on Friday, Trump praised Leavitt for her performance during his campaign. “Karoline Leavitt did a phenomenal job as the National Press Secretary on my Historic Campaign,” he said. “She is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator. I have the utmost confidence she will excel at the podium and help deliver our message to the American People as we, Make America Great Again.”
