The other day, I received a pleasant package containing a bespoke gin made by Justin Bell, one of our regulars here (and soon to be a cover identity in the next Sleeper Agent book).
After bedding down the Felafel re-launch, I finally had time to uncork it and take a sip last night and omifuckinggod it’s amazing.
On Justin’s advice I used it to make a martini (not that I need much advising on that score), and I’m happy to report that with a whiff of Dolin vermouth waved past the mixing jug it comes together as one of the smoothest cocktails you could want.
It was all I could do not to keep making them.
