After a cold but fine weekend, we got some real Tasmanian weather overnight, so I’ll be staying tucked up in my hotel room today, working on The Javan War. We’ll see how that goes without my usual screen farm. I don’t mind the change in venue, however. Lots of writers dream of locking themselves into a hotel room until their project is done. And there is something pleasing about being warm and dry while foul weather prevails outside your big picture windows.
